Espresso boost for Vietnam’s coffee farmers

Although Vietnam is the world’s biggest exporter of the low-grade Robusta beans used in instant coffee, it is a tiny player in the more lucrative market for Arabica, the bean of choice for espresso connoisseurs. Ben Bland visits coffee farmers in Vietnam’s Son La province, who are benefiting from a government drive to grow more high-quality coffee beans in the country.
