Tibet: The first foreign media reports

Geoff Dyer, the FT’s Shanghai correspondent, is one of a small group of foreign reporters allowed into Tibet for the first time since unrest began in mid-March. He speaks to Fang Wang of FT.com about why the government made the U-turn by inviting the journalists, and the mood in Lhasa.
